How can I sign up for MyStyleDiary?
• Just fill out the Registration Form.
• Retrieve the activation information from your email.
..and your ready to begin!
I registered but didn't receive a
confirmation/activation email. What's wrong?
Immediatly after registration, an email will be sent to the email address your
email address to confirming and activate your account. If you did not get the
confirmation email, here are some reasons why:
• It was automatically placed in your spam/junk folder (often common with
Hotmail accounts)
• It may have been rejected by your spam blocker (often common with Earthlink
accounts)
• Your mail server processing the email slowly. You should have the email
within 30 minutes.
• You misspelled your email address during sign up.
You may also try to Login. You
will not actually be able to login, but it will cause
the system to send you another email.
If the problem continues, please contact the
Webmaster.
I am having trouble with uploading my photos - it
gives a message that they must be a minimum size. What should I do?
You will get this error message if the photo you've uploaded is smaller than
the minimum height and width allowed. To avoid this, you'll need to provide a
larger image or use photo editing software to increase the size of your photo.
I'd like to include photos of my friends and
family. Is this allowed?
We don't allow candid photos, such as vacation, family events, etc., with
exception to those specifically related to an outfit or clothing item. Please
be sure to note it in the photo description.
One of my photos has been taken down by an
Administrator. Why?
MyStyleDiary does not allow celebrity photos of any type in member diaries.
Personal photos and snapshots uploaded to Cool Finds or New Outfits must be
specifically related to an outfit or clothing item, however, you may upload any
snapshot (with exception to celebrity) to your Daily Fix if desired. In the
event that a photo is taken down, it will be noted in the photo's absence on
your page. For questions, please contact the

Is there a limit to the number of outfit photos
and cool finds I can add?
No There is no limit to the number of photos you can add.
My photos are dark and hard to see. How can I take
better photos?
The key to good photographs starts with lighting. Natural lighting is generally
the best, however, artificial lighting can work well if it is bright and evenly
distributed throughout the room. Software is available that can edit photos,
including lighting. For more photo tips, please check out the ToolBox article

Can I use HTML in my description/messages?
Yes and No. HTML can be harmful and enable a user to change the layout of
a page. To ensure the site remains uniform for all guests to the site, we limit
your HTML formatting to a few basic formatting options. Areas that allow
HTML formatting will provide an HTML designer/editor for adding things like
bold, italics, underline, hyperlinks, etc. If you paste HTML in to the
designer with elements that are not allowed, they will automatically be
stripped from your message. This will often confuse your browser and lock-up
its editing abilities.
Adding HTML to regular text boxes will cause an error.
Can I share my StyleDiary with friends?
MyStyleDiary members are encouraged to share their links with other member,
friends, etc.
I'd like to comment on other people's outfits and
get comments on mine. How can I do this?
MyStyleDiary has a private message system that enables members and guests to
interact regarding outfits, etc. You can find a "Send a message about this
picture" link under every photo (except thumbnails).
